Aslan Trends Royal Alpaca

Royal alpaca is particularly exceptional and comprises only about 1% of all alpaca fiber! It's comparable to cashmere in both softness and luxury (though alpaca is lighter and warmer), and is considered the "king" of alpaca fiber. So Aslan Trends Royal Alpaca is the finest alpaca fiber in the world. It's a truly special yarn, in an incredibly soft 100% royal alpaca. At 100 grams and 220 yards, this worsted weight yarn is an amazing value. Made in Bolivia

This yarn is so soft and easy to knit. Love working with it. It is hand wash only but since I don't mind that, it's not an issue for me.

I keep buying this yarn and adding colors to my assortment. I have made 3 scarves and a hat in this yarn. They were gifts and all who received them have loved them. In using at least 8 skeins I have not found one knot. I cannot recommend this yarn highly enough. It is beautiful and the colors are stunning.

I made a hat for my son and it was beautiful. Not only was the color gorgeous, but it was sooooo incredibly soft. Tangerine was the color. I wish the softness could come across in a photo.

I bought one color of this yarn and once I received it, bought three more colors. All of the colors were very rich (even better than pictured). This is the softest, easiest yarn I have ever worked with. I have knitted and crocheted wth it and have had absolutely no problem with the yarn splitting. Best alpaca yarn ever!

I ordered "sable" which is a grey in the photo. I was very disappointed when it came in and looks to be an olive green, kinda looks more like the "cocoa" color that is listed. I did check the label and it says "sable". The fiber it self is very soft. The color is way off from what is pictured

I purchased this yarn in the Merlot color, it is with out a doubt the softest most color rich yarn there is. I used it to crochet a poncho for myself and, even tho this is a dark color the stitches show up very well. Since this is a crochet garment rather than a knitted one, I found it very easy to work with .

            Royal Alpaca is Just that!!

            • Scarfs

This yarn is wonderful to knit with. Small fine hairs do fly off ( esp. when your wearing black) but I would expect this from a 100% Alpaca.
I use it as an alternative with Patterns from Purl soho. Great price point!
