    Love this yarn!

I made a beautiful baby blanket with this for a winter baby. It is lightweight and warm. I really like working with this yarn and bought a bunch more for a larger blanket.

Knits to a better fabric weight at a DK gauge, 5.5 sts/in than worsted.

Soft washable wool good for baby/kids sweaters that may need frequent washing. Washed swatches several times before knitting garment and they still look good.
Good stitch definition for baby cables, guernseys, and other textured patterns.

Not many kids colors in the range offered. Would love to see some bright primary colors.

Not sure if I will use again, mainly d/t color choices and there are several beautiful washable merino yarns that are competition for this product.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool:

Knitted scarfs and hats for all women, men and children. Love the stitch definition and the softness of the yarn.

Only complaint is sometimes (even with the same dye lot) there is more of one color than the others in the prints - example one skein was 3/4 forest green while all the others had the green, grey, etc. - a better balanced variety of color.

Beautiful colors that coordinate well. Soft wool but nothing special. Biggest complaint is how easily the yarn splits! Also, it is light weight and does not have much body.

I'm using this product to make a sweater, have used it in the past to make a scarf. Nice textured yarn with good resiliency. Easy to work with and washes and wears really well. Would give it a 5th star but it doesn't knit itself :)

very soft (which is probably partly due to the loose twist which some may not like but i'm okay with), & machine washable. perfect for baby blankets.

The color selection of Liberty Wool is fun. Knitting with it is fun as well as you are always looking forward to the next color. I would describe it as light worsted weight. Great for gifts as it is easy care.

I bought this yarn to make a sweater, hat, booties, and blanket for my expected great-grandchild due in September. The yarn is soft and knits up beautifully. I do have to put it in a zip-top tote, because my cats seem to love it too! I use the Russian join to add a new strand, and I love the way it blends together to make a smooth join that is truly invisible.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool:

I bought the yarn to make a sweater that needs drape, which is working out well. I like very much that the yarn is washable. I like very much that the yarn seems well made, well colored, well wound into its skeins/balls. All make me feel that I have gotten good value. It is a good yarn for my project - making a soft, drapy, wearable sweater. A small con was that the yarn was slightly lighter gauge than expected, but I do not consider this a major problem.

I am knitting a size 4 "Ariel" sweater from the Liberty Wool kids catalog. It is really easy yarn to knit with and is crazy soft. It is also machine washable which is a must for children's clothes. I chose the purple color and it is really pretty. Can't wait to see it finished.
