This pattern is named the pattern looks like a mermaid’s tail, which according to the many myths and legends of river mermaids, sirens, water sprites, are often referred to as nixies. Nixie is two patterns in one as it contains both the Lorelei and Melusine patterns. This pattern contains instructions for a pair of lacey fingerless mitts and matching cowl.
