Ready for armhole shaping. If you don’t like the stair-step appearance, use the slope bind off for the armhole (can be found in the Knitter’s Companion, pg. 73 or any good knitting reference book).
End completing a WS row.
When you slip, slip, knit, remember to slip as if to knit!
Be sure to check your stitch count to make sure it’s correct throughout.
Work back as the front, replacing the cables as indicated. If you want, you can put the cables on the back.
Strap length can be adjusted by casting on more or fewer stitches.
The front may have to be blocked a bit more severely than the front because of the cabling.
When seaming, work into a “frown” on one side and “smile” on the other.
Decorate front as desired, or leave plain.
