I've been knitting with circular needles for years and this is the first set that broke where the cord meets the needle! They were only used sporadically for two months before breaking.

May purchase some Susanne's straight needles at a later date because the ebony wood is lovely to knit with.

My new favorite needle brand. I have two pairs of circulars (6 and 10) and I could knit for hours with these. Easy on my hand, yarn does not snag - an absolute pleasure to use. I do not not want to be constantly fiddling with my needles - I want to knit! And with these, it is a wonderful rythmn of yarn, fingers and needles. I use bright colors as a rule, but I can see where the black of the needles might make it harder for someone knitting with dark colors.

I love these needles. They are my favorite. The only down side is that they are black needles and if you knit with any dark color it is too difficult to see the stitches. I have had a few of the needles break, but that is true with all brands I have had.
I have had no problems with the joins.

I have been knitting for over 60yrs. This the first time I have had a circular keedle break
at the connection. As lovely as these are to the touch I will not but another pair of their circular needles.

For lace knitting the Susanne circular needle cannot be beat. The joints are smooth and the needles are perfect for fine silk yarns.

I have started to use only Susanne's needles because they are so nice to work with. Sharp on the end to pick up yarn very easy, cables aren't stiff, lots of glide and best of all they are recycled.GREAT product!
