Comments about Noro Yuzen:

Went by the product overview and first review BUT it is not soft enough for garments next to skin i.e. cardigan over summer dress etc. Overview also states #6 needles but label says 7 - 9 which does give more drape and a nicer finish. Have to put it in my stash now as it is not suitable for chosen project :( nor even a scarf as previous reviewer mentioned.

I am not sure if it is because I have not soaked the garment I made, but I found this yarn to be oddly stiff and rough. I made a baby hat out of it, blocked it lightly and still thought it was to "scratchy". I am going to try a soak on it, but this has became a "i'll get to it later" yarn and for Noro, that makes me a bit sad. I love all my Noro yarns!

This yarn has the most interesting color combinations and color fades of any yarn that I have worked with. It is really a treat to watch the skein unfold to see what color is coming up next. The texture is great for the hats i bought it for, a little rough for scarves though.

i LOVE this yarn. the colors are gorgeous and i actually like this yarn better than silk garden.it's a nice uniform size and nice and soft. i think this is my favorite noro yarn.
