Worth it in the end

The Shire Silk did shed a bit during knitting, but not all that much because I knit it on larger needles for more drape and grace. It blocked to my preferred dimensions, and now that I have finished my simple cardigan, I really like it. I can dress it up or down, and it is a great weight and fabric for 3 seasons. I have received several compliments on it.

I substituted this yarn for another thinking I would be happy with it. It's just not fun to work with. Very stiff and on wooden needles it's a form of torture. I'm not giving up yet.

I will never work with this yarn again. It's rough on your fingers while knitting. it sheds. I think it grows even after careful checking gauge.
