Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
The yarn is pretty good- soft, easy to knit and shows the stitches off well- but the colors are a lot more bold than shown on the screen. be careful if trying to match colors or knit something striped.. i've bought so many skeins because it looked different after i received it in the mail- and my project was still in process! next time i'll stick to one color when buying this yarn online.

Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
The yarn is lovely and looks like it will be wonderful to work with, but the color is not even close to how it appears online. Color 8553 appears as a deep teal blue (and I've now looked at this on three different monitors); in actuality, it's much more green than blue...very disappointing, especially since I ordered four skeins.

Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
This yarn is probably the best I've worked with in a long time. I made a few drawstring bags with it and plan to make a hat because it is so soft and squishy. It holds its shape well and is machine washable. It has a beautiful sheen and is a fine way to show off your stitching. :)

Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
I loved working with this yarn. It's got a beautiful sheen and is very soft. Stitch definition is great and it shows cables off really well. I haven't had any trouble with it splitting. I used a Russian splice and it worked very well. I bought another batch to work up an afghan for myself.
Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
This yarn relaxes upon washing more than any I've ever worked with. That said, it's actually machine-washable, and it's super-soft and squishy. I don't worry about felting at all because I couldn't even get individual strands to spit splice.
Comments about Berroco Pure Merino:
This yarn has been splitting pretty easily for me. But the stitch definition is great. I have not tested its washablity yet though.
