This yarn has an absolutely delightful hand - it's silky and soft. However, the color only vaguely resembles the one here - I have the copper color, and it's a very intense, bright salmon color. Not what I expected.
Also, the twist is a little uneven, which means I'm adding twist in some areas and removing it from others.
As it's a single, and a soft somewhat fuzzy yarn, I'd recommend this for things against the skin, but not pieces that need to be hard-wearing.
It has surprisingly good stitch definition for a soft, fuzzy yarn. All in all, I'd recommend it for a someone who's fairly experienced with yarn, but you'll get a beautiful result if you know how to handle it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I love this yarn & would sleep in it if I could. I am making an afghan with it (extravagant) i Know but my I got a good deal on it when my local yarn store had a sale. It is great to work with, it is not tightly woven though and some may have a problem with that. I am using Addi Turbo Lace needles which have a narrow point and not having a problem at all. Everyone who sees it and feels the texture wants me to give it to them when finished. (fat chance!)
I just reviewed this yarn and forgot to mention that the colors in reality are somewhat different than what they appear here. (richer and darker) If your are interested go to the Plymouth website, I found the colors to be more true to actual colors I saw in the store. MM
