I just got this yarn and it is so soft. It doesn't shed like some alpaca yarn and knits up beautifully, with well-defined stitches. Haven't washed or blocked it yet.

Amazingly light garments are knit quickly with this yarn. It has a tendency to separate, so I prefer a blunt-tipped needle.
