i love this yarn! it's deliciously squishy, soft, noodly (reminds me of the japanese udon), and mega easy to work with. i made a deep purple neckwarmer with this (in lieu of the pattern's suggested rowan big wool), which feels (and looks) great against my skin and keeps me warm. i would like to buy more in different colors to make more neckwarmers for friends. i hope to make a vest (also deep purple) out of this -- to substitute for the pricier schaefer kathleen yarn -- this year.

I neglected to check the yardage on this yarn so now I have to double my order so make sure you don't make my mistake. Also, contrary to what other reviewers said, this yarn does fleece up like a cat and I fear I will have to shave it when I'm done with my scarf. I suppose this is the same problem with most wool yarns, though. Based on yardage and price, Cashmerino may be the better purchase right now.

I've made a couple of scarves with Como, and it's super soft and easy to knit. No shedding or pilling whatsoever.

This yarn is SO soft and delicious! Making a multicolor striped blanket out of whatever color is next out of my bag. ALL the colors look amazing next to each other! HAVE FUN!
