Definitely a "workhorse" yarn

Bought one skein to try & found This yarn to be scratchy and not something I put next to my skin, probably would work for a jacket.
Lots of people on Ravelery buy it for felting, and I hear it is an excellent yarn for that. Reminds me of the stuff you buy in a craft store! If I am going to invest my time and money into knitting I want it to be something I love to wear.

i'm about 4 inches into making a scarf & this yarn is not soft as i thoguht it would be. It has a roughness to it.

This is the best yarn. It is soft, never has broken ends mid-skein and works up beautifully! AND the colors...any color. I have even found yarn to match existing garments.

This is my favorite wool yarn of all time! I can make a large sweater with 5-6 skeins, and it is so soft I can't believe it is wool. I also love all the colors. It feels great in your hands when you knit with it. I keep buying it. You should try it.
Can 14,752 stashes be wrong?

As of 11/13, Cascade 220 has been stashed on Ravelry 14,752 times! This is not surprising as Cascade is a super worsted-weight 100% wool workhorse yarn. It doesn't hurt that it comes in dozens of colors! If you don't have Cascade in your stash, you should!
