very soft, pills like the dickens

I knitted a sweater for my dad four xmases ago and it's soft for sure -- nice and springy to knit with -- but it has pilled badly and now looks very ragged. Then, four years is a lot of wear. I think I'll keep looking for my go-to superwash worsted standard.

i made a sweater for a baby gift. i did wash it on the gentle cycle. it was soft and beautiful. i am making a second sweater for another baby as well as a sweater for a toddler.
Very disappointed!

I bought 2 skeins of this lovely looking yarn (not from WEBS)& crocheted a pair of socks for my daughter's BF for Xmas. They came out great, but when I washed & dried them, as the label suggested, they came out horrible. I had even put them in a small laundry bag that zips shut & yet they were fuzzy & baggy after the 1st wash & dry. I don't know if it was because it was the heathered yarn or if all of the colors do this. But I probably won't give this yarn a 2nd try....
