Used this yarn for a scarf, and ended up with a warm, cozy finished product that looked beautiful knit up. Also surprisingly soft. I didn't face any issues with splitting or pulling/chafing while knitting. It was a bit difficult to weave in the ends when finished, as some of the ends were loose and puffy, but not a major problem.
Decent

This yarn was good for my particular project (a Jayne Cobb Cunning Hat from the series Firefly). I needed a rustic yarn in red, orange and yellow and this was the only one I found with all those available. The finished product looks good, but it does pull apart quite a bit and requires twisting while working, which got annoying rather quickly. Chafed my hands a bit too after a couple of hours, so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing you might think twice.
Felts great!

I love this yarn for felting! I've made several bags from it and it felts just as well as Lambs Pride. Terrific yarn!

I just finished a woman's sleeveless jacket with a collar and I liked this yarn very much. The feel is soo soft, the brown color is very pretty, and the yarn is easy to knit.
The overall look is casual and fits the style of the jacket.
would be great

I actually love the finished product of this yarn and how it knits up but it is a total pain to work with. If you don't keep twisting it, it pulls apart. sometimes it pulls apart anyway. Bummer. And forge sewing anything together with it. I made a sweater for hubby and It is beautiful but I had to sew it together with some acrylic that I matched the best I could. I imagine that this would be great felted.
