Used for man's sweater and winter beret. Warm and soft but with good body. Shrinks with washing so needs blocking after every wash.

Have made a couple garments...sweaters, etc out of this as well as hats. It's great for people who want warmth, loft and bounce-back of wool but the softness of cotton. I made my MIL a sweater from it and she is very sensitive to wool and she LOVES her sweater...the feel and warmth of it. I highly recommend!

Beautiful weight for summer garments. I've made sweaters out of 100% cotton. They tend to be heavy and stretch after a while. The 50/50 blend of cotton and wool makes this a light, wearable option for hot weather.

I was surprised how nice this was to work with. At first, it would split and snag, but once I got the hang of it, I didn't have any problems. I've only done a gauge swatch so far, but am looking forward to working on my Windsor Cardigan (Knitscene, Summer 2011). Seems like a good substitute for Rowan Wool Cotton. Swatch is much softer than I anticipated. I also like the subtle colour variation in the strand.

this is such a nice combo of fibers, lightly warm. no pilling after multiple wearings. dries quickly in blocking process. i've used it for 2 sweaters, bought more for a 3rd!
