I love this yarn. I'm knitting a pea coat which I have almost finished. I knits up easily and quickly with beautiful results. It even rips easily, I'm sad to say that I have experience with that... I recommend the yarn for beginners as well as advanced! There is no fear of splitting a stitch into two. I found no problem with inconsistent yarn. I only had one join in 10 skeins.

I really like this yarn. I just finished a sweater for my daughter. This is a very soft yarn and the finished product has a very nice hand spun quality about it. My daughter's sweater has cables and a matching scarf. The yarn is very springy, knits perfectly to gauge and is very hardwearing. I would definitely order this yarn again. Could easily be knit to 3.5 stitches to the inch. This yarn is forgiving, easy to "unknit" which we all have to do from time to time, and is a great value for the price.

This is a beautiful tight plied yarn with a silky hand and the dark charcoal is gorgeous in simple garter stitch for a man's scarf. Absolutely no thickness inconsistencies whatsoever. Very springy.

The yarn is soft with a nice spring to it and nice weight (warm but not hot). I did not have any problems with inconsistent thickness as mentioned in the previous review....I have ordered another color for another project.

as i use this yarn to knit up a hoodie, i've noticed that the width/thickness of the yarn is inconsistent. it's not splitty, it's nice and soft, and i've had no other problems with it. every few yards or so, the yarn will either get thinner or much thicker than the rest, and it's a little annoying.
