Bought just one skein and made a shawlette. Initial plan was make a gift, but ended up donating to charity store because the color was not pleasing (project started with deep hues of purple and aqua green and ended with much lighter greenish-yellow - kind of ugly). The overall quality of yarn was superb, but bad looking final project left me with a solid decision to stay away from this yarn. Anyone buying this yarn to make a pair of socks should take into consideration a chance of ending up with two very different looking socks.

I got my first skein of Malabrigo sock as a gift. This is my first quality yarn and while I haven't been knitting too long, this is my gold standard for all the things a yarn should be. Soft, nice to work with, gorgeous color, beautiful stitch definition. I love this yarn!

I love this yarn for socks of course, but even more so for knitted/crocheted shawls. It's so soft and the colors are spectacular. And it is spectacular for weaving. I've made many gift recipients very happy.

Have just knit up a pair of socks in colorway Abril. Pictures do not do the colours justice, they are rich and deep, and the yarn has an almost satiny sheen to it. There is no pooling or striping. Quite elastic and a pleasure to knit and wear, and can handle ripping out without damage. Check the gauge as the yarn is on the thin side for socks, the next time I knit with this I will size down my needles to get a denser fabric. I have not yet worn the socks enough to judge the wearing properties, but there is no nylon in the blend so I have reinforced heels and toes with wooly nylon serger thread for safety...

This yarn is a dream to work with but the picture of Chocamargo is misleading. My two skeins I bought are a solid dark rich brown with no light brown sections as the photo lead me to believe.

this is my favorite yarn ever!! I have made a lace triangle shawl and socks and it is so soft and great to knit with. totally worth the price!!!!

This is by far my favorite sock yarn. I have sensitive feet and get blisters from homemade socks but not with Malabrigo. And even better, it gets softer with washing.
