I just started a project with this yarn, a cabled hoodie. And so far it's wonderful! This yarn is lite and yet warm with a lovely angora haze to it. My cables and bobbles stand out and give it even more texture allure. I can't wait to see the finished product!

I have used Invernal for several projects. While its gauge is more of a light worsted, it more than makes up for that in warmth. Probably owing to the dyeing process, different colors have shown different degrees of angora halo - the more natural lighter shades definitely show this more. I've used it for garments and mittens and it has performed beautifully.

As other people have mentioned, this yarn isn't as fine a weight as you would imagine. I made a beret from a single skein of the scarlet colourway and it is beautiful. The yarn has a really excellent stitch definition and also has some of angora's classic halo, though not (in my mind) an excessive halo. Even better, this yarn doesn't seem to pill or shed like other hairier angora yarns. It has more give than you think and my crochet beret has stretched a little since wearing it a while. I think I could easily buy this again.

Definitely not a worsted weight yarn and disappointed that no angora haze resulted from knitting as described. Pretty colors though and great yardage.

The 50% rbbit hair angora content makes this a yarn both warm & lightweight as a whisper. If you're making a large garment like a sweater or a coat,, make it pretty close-fitting, because the finished Invernal fabric will be pretty stretchy AND it will drape magnificently. The color saturation & stitch definition of this yarn are FANTASTIC. Finished fabric made from this yarn features that lovely soft "halo" effect that's characteristic of angora yarn. Invernal is OUTSTANDING for color work -- the angora "halo" does not obscure stitch definition or colorwork in any way. It just makes it look softer, richer & more feminine! I made a tea-length fit-and-flare deep-winter dress out of Invernal. The dress is GORGEOUS -- the four-color decorative borders on the sleeves & hemline look EXQUISITE -- and I cannot stress enough that ithis yarn has BEAUTIFUL drape!!!!!

This yarn is amazingly soft. The texture as you knit with it becomes gorgeous stitch definition. I made a pair of small cabled gauntlets for my sister and this yarn was perfect! The softness of the angora plus the detail on the small cables made a beautiful gift for her! I love this yarn!
