I love the subtle color changes this yarn provides in the finished piece, and the yarn works up very nicely and easily. The only quarrel I have with it is the sometimes uneven spinning....I get sections of very thin, alternating with very thick sections. Wish they would "smooth it out" a bit!

this yarn is super beautiful and the color changes are amazing; however be careful when felting it. it takes FOREVER and doesn't really felt tightly. it still looks beautiful but i was surprised at how it didn't want to felt, even though its 100% wool. so try a test swatch first!

I like yarns with different characters; sometimes very soft isn't what's needed. Kureon has amazing character and you cannot beat his color combinations. Love it for jackets, afghans, felting. It's unlike any other long-repeat single; if you want something like this yarn, you need this yarn. I purchase like paint - a few skeins of a colorway at a time - and combine with solids for very interesting felted work.

I have bought this yarn many times and in many colorways. After the first wash this yarn is yummy soft. Don't hesitate to buy it. It also felts like a dream too.

Kureyon is great stuff. The colorways are unbelievable, it felts well, and the yardage is decent for the price. Some don't like it, as it is not as soft as merino or the other Noro yarns containing silk or cotton, but, still...nothing like the original. There's a reason it's been so popular for years!
