Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
I have used Madeline Tosh Vintage yarn many times for sweaters. Always love the way they turn out. Knitting is a joy , the yarn is soft and easy on the fingers . I am a loose knitter, so i usually end up making a smaller pattern size with a larger needle to get gauge and this works perfect for me. The one thing to be aware of with this yarn..is that it grows quite a bit when blocking. I have also found that blocking isn't always necessary with this yarn...since the end product is so nice.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
Very rich color with subtle variations. A beautiful true gray, with a slight purple tone. Skeins were well-matched for a hand-dyed yarn.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
Because this is a hand-dyed yarn the colors may vary from the images online. I strongly recommend calling and talking to a representative before purchacing. The pattern I used needed two contrasting colors. My first order did not work because I relied on what I saw online. I then called and they were very helpful in coordinating what I needed.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
I would like to suggest all of your order deliveries be in plastic or some type of container. I'm not happy to see yarn sitting on top of my bagged yarn.
I use this yarn mostly for sweaters since that's mostly what I knit. Sometimes I will also knit accessories to go with the sweaters, like hats, gloves, scarves. I find the yarn nice to work with and I'm happy with the results.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
vintage is great to work with. I usually have to go up a needle size or two to get gauge, but once I get gauge its smooth sailing.
The color-way I was using "Steven loves Tosh" did have a lot more orange at the heavier weight when compared to the merino light fingering version, but I love the colors do didn't mind the shift.
