This is a beautiful classic yarn, however, it is not that easy to handle. The stitches can be very uneven and garments require careful blocking when finished. The fabric is slippery and easily slides off needles so I had to be very careful when knitting my aran spring aran sweater with it. This yarn has no spring whatsoever, so choose an appropriate project. The drape is long and loose, even when knitted at 6 stitches to the inch. This yarn almost needs cables, aran patterning or ribs to give it something to do because even though it is a light weight, it hangs off your body and will show every bump and bulge you have because it is a thin fabric with a lot of sheen. Don't get me wrong, this yarn works up to a GORGEOUS product, but you have to be discerning about your design. The appearance of the uneven stitches definitely improves greatly after blocking and steaming. Drape, drape, drape -- very sexy and oh so comfortable to wear, but absolutely no spring of any kind so you will get exactly what you knit. This yarn is unforgiving if you make mistakes, knit unevenlyl, or choose a design that requires structure over drape. Colors are drop dead gorgeous. I'd be interested to see what happens to this yarn if I knitted it double stranded.

Beautiful, luminous colors. Soft in the hank and even softer after blocking. I made the Coraline cardigan by Ysolda with this yarn, it turned out beautifully. Love love love.
