I love the Noro line, and the sock yarn is one of my favorites. It's not as soft as some sock yarns, but it's very durable, and the colors are amazing. I made socks from it about 3 years ago, I've machine washed them ever since, and they still look great.

This is described as 462yd hanks but my ball was only 50g. Is this a mistake? I can order 50g balls for half-price elsewhere! ***Note from WEBS: Kureyon Sock is a 100g skein. If you received a 50g skein, you may have received the wrong product, perhaps the Kureyon Worsted. Please contact customer service if this is the case.***

Although the color pattern is quite nice, I am very disappointed in the rough texture of this yarn. There were frequent knots in the yarn that made knitting the project frustrating - and I'm not a novice. I gave the socks to a friend as a gift and billed them as "exfoliating socks". But I won't use it again.

I just finished my Hidden Grannies Vest & couldn't be more pleased with this sock yarn. The ONLY issue I had at all was with the occasional worming of the yarn; but overall I am very pleased with the finished project! Karen D
