Araucania Huasco is a hand dyed, fingering weight yarn made from extra soft merino wool. It comes in beautiful, vibrant color combinations that compliment each other well. This would work up into a stunning shawl or other accessory. Hand dyed in Chile.

Working on a lacy shawl, perfect weight for it.Love the yarn, it has a slight sheen to it which makes it to look luxurious.
I chose color Jade, Olive, Teal, based on the picture. I thought it would be more on the teal side, but in reality the colors were murkier than I hoped for (muted olive colors not my thing). However, I still like the yarn a lot and will probably buy more of it, just another color.

I was mildly disappointed at the colour. In the picture it looked much more varigated, mine was hardly varigated at all. I still like it though, just not what I was expecting based on the photo.

I'm making the "Thorn" wrap, which isn't a lace shawl--all stockinette and garter stitch--so somewhat sturdier fabric than most shawls. So far, it's great. I haven't blocked or used it yet so I can't say anything about that. But the color variation is beautiful and it seems like well-made yarn.
