Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
I used this yarn to make a Tardis Kleenex box cover for my niece's birthday. It is fine yarn with a lovely springy feel. There were no knots in the skein, the color is even and well saturated and I would purchase it again.

Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
I bought this yarn for a pair of colourwork mittens, and it was a good choice. It's a little bit splitty, but it springs back fairly solidly, and still looks good after I've knit and un-knit a few sections to correct errors. Lots of colours available, for a very good price - a nice little workhorse yarn.

Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
I have a preference for Cascade and Valley yarns. This yarn was purchased for a sweater to be worn on Easter Sunday as the holiday is rather early this year. The pattern really pops. I will post the finished garment on FB.

Haven't started my project yet, but I look forward to it. The yarn is softer than I imagined it would be and the color is as advertised on the website.

- Tea Cozy
Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
I am making a tea cozy, I'm a Little Teapot in Fair Isle. The two balls of yarn should be enough for a cozy and a liner for extra warmth. This yarn knits up nicely, no splitting. It is not overly soft, nor harsh, so it would feel nice for a sweater over a shirt, if the person needs very soft. I don't know about pilling or felting, as I am still knitting, but from the looks of it, these shouldn't be a problem. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
Ran out of yarn I was knitting into a multi-colored scarf and couldn't remember what the original was. It turned out not to be Cascade 220, but this was close enough and even I couldn't notice the difference when it was done. I'd certainly get this yarn again.
Pros
- great color range
- Nice hand
- Versatile Yarn
Cons
Best Uses
Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
I made a "Color Affection" shawl and love the wide range of colors. Nice hand to knit, I had no trouble with splitting and the weight makes a nice soft cuddly shawl. I ordered enough for two more shawls.
Pros
- Good yardage
- Sturdy
- Wide range of colors
Cons
- Color Red Bleeds
Best Uses
- Mittens
- Socks
Comments about Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering:
It's a good value for the amount of yarn you get. However, the dark red bleeds. In colorwork, it's an unpleasant surprise, so I had to resoak my proj in vinegar/water. With another red skein I pre-soaked it in vinegar/water before knitting and it still bled once I finished my proj. Hm.
