I ordered this in the "Shadows" colorway which turns out to be lovely blues and greens. There isn't as much color variation as I expected from the web picture, though.

Yes, it is possible to split stitches as other reviewers have stated, but the feel of this yarn while knitting and then wearing is worth being just a tiny bit more careful. After all, if it were too easy, it would be in mass-produced things and then what's the point?
