Descended from a long line of Dutch knitters, Debbie Stoller is The New York Times bestselling author of the Stitch ‘n Bitch series of knitting and crocheting books. She is hilarious, has her own line of yarn, a PhD from Yale in the psychology of women, and is Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the feminist magazine BUST.
Called a “Knitting Superstar” by The New York Times, Debbie Stoller has popularized knitting among a new generation. She started the first Stitch ‘n Bitch group in NYC in 1999, and there are now over 1,000 groups all across the world. Her most recent book is Superstar Knitting: Go Beyond the Basics.
