These were so much fun to knit that when I finished one pair, I knit another pair right away! Well - truth be told - I had never knit mittens before - but I HAD knit socks. So, when I finished the first mitten, I knew - based on my experience with socks - that I had to knit the second one right away - otherwise it would just sit in my Work in Progress pile for a LONG time. So, I knit the second mitten. Unlike socks, however, the right mitten and the left mitten are NOT identical! So, I ended up with TWO right-hand mittens! Argh! I could either rip the second mittens out to the thumb - or I could just go ahead and knit a pair of left-hand mittens! So, now I have two pairs of mittens. I'm glad they were fun to knit!
