I ordered a gift card today for a friend. We know that WEBS aims to please and to not recommend a gift card is a bit odd. While we may not want to contact Customer Service all the time - that's what they are for - to help you with a question. Also, on the back of the gift card are some basic instructions on how to use the gift card online. A gift card lets someone pick out what they want, helps them purchase something special and takes the guessing out of what to get someone. That can't be all bad.

While a rather convenient way to gift someone some yarn and 'get it right,' it would significantly improve useability of the card if the instructions for use were clearly stated both in the description and above the 'special instructions' box where the code is entered how to use the card (for example, above the special instructions box, change the text to read 'Special instructions and/or enter gift card number to redeem.'). Having to go to a FAQ to find out that's how the card is used is rather inconvenient.

I purchased a gift card for my son's girlfriend for Christmas and was worried about delivery because they live 1,200 miles away. I didn't want her to receive it too early and spoil the surprise. Webs didn't deliver it by computer, they delivered it through regular mail and she was surprised and happy when she opened it on Christmas morning! Thanks for helping me give a gift and make someone happy!
