Inkle bands are narrow fabrics that can be used as straps and belts, among other things. They are woven on an inkle loom, a very portable loom that is easy to set up and use.
In this Inkle Weaving Mini-Workshop, you’ll see how to make heddles, dress the loom, start and end weaving, and, of course, how to actually weave. If time permits, we’ll talk about how to plan a warp. There will be an opportunity for a little bit of hands-on work.
