Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine

Juniper Moon Farm's Moonshine casts a spell of softness over your knitting and crochet. This wool/alpaca/silk blend has one ply and a bit of halo, and the finished fabric is more substantial than a typical alpaca or wool yarn. Moonshine comes in a palette of glowing, saturated colors with a subtle marl effect from how the dye penetrates the different fibers. Experience this gorgeous yarn for yourself! Made in Peru.

Comments about Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine:

I am so torn about this yarn, it is just glorious to knit and has a lovely sheen and a soft and subtle halo, but at this price I expect there not to be knots and tangles in the skein. I had to sit and wind it very gently by hand and it took about an hour and a half before I could then re-wind it on my yarn-winder. I nearly returned it, I had to cut it in a few places and then spit-splice , so yes, I love this yarn not sure if I got a bad batch but it was very, very frustrating.

Comments about Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine:

This product does not aggravate my yarn allergies. It is very soft, I do not find it itchy, it would work on a wool hat for those who, like me, are sensitive to wool but unable to bear some types because of the wheezing (eg cascade 220 wool makes me wheeze, as does mohair and angora).
