A pattern for a patriotic vest led me to this yarn. I have enough left to make a scarf or cowl... I have gotten so many compliments on the finished vest and knitters want the pattern!!!

I knitted a sweater that called for this yarn. It knitted exactly to stated gauge, blocking took care if any unevenness , it's soft and has a great drape.

I used it to knit the vest as advertised. I thought it would be unique to have yarn made of bluejeans. But I really didn't like the texture, and I am hoping that it shrinks in the same way described by the pattern, or it is not going to fit well at all. It would help to at least be pre-shrunk. No problems at all with delivery.

I bought this to make the Log Cabin throw that is a pattern from Kollage. I figured if it's recycled blue jeans, dog hair won't stick to it. The yarn is great for that project and I just might get it done in my lifetime! I can't knit on it for long stretches of time because it is tough yarn and makes my skin sore. I'm sure it will soften up with washing. But it should be rugged and stand up to my dogs which is what I got it for.
