Comments about Lana Gatto Camel Hair:

Beautiful, buttery soft yarn, but buyer-bewear!

I bought three different colors of the Lana Gatto Camel Hair yarn and the colors that I received were drastically different than the colors shown online. I have ordered many times from Webs and have never experienced this problem before, so I was quite disappointed.

With the Camel Hair yarn, the beige was the only color that was "correct". The Khaki Drab is shown online as a kind of light sage color, and the color I got was a dark olive. Also, the Navy I got is so dark it's pretty much black, and the navy color shown online is actually pretty light looking. I understand that there will be a slight difference in colors shown online and the colors in life, but this difference was was drastic I thought I had received the wrong yarn at first.

The yarn its self is great to work with. Soft, light, and easy to knit. There is only a very slight halo when knitted up. I would recommend this yarn, but I am very disappointed with Webs color presentation of this yarn!

I wrote to customer service about the disconnect between the colors presented online and the yarns I received, but never heard back. Disappointed with the lack of response. Matching colors correctly is very important to me and I depend on correct yarn photos to make my purchasing decisions.
