I use a little bigger needle with the sock yarn + re-enforcing yarn on the heel and toe. The bigger needle keeps it flexible and not bulky.

It took almost 3 weeks to receive the yarn, a tiny little roll that could have gone in a no. 10 envelope. I had to call twice checking on it. Wouldn't use this source again for knitting products. They told me they were swamped with orders, but then shouldn't have promised it in 5 days.

I do not invest my time and money in hand knit socks to see them wear out in the toe or heal. This thread provides additional strength without adding weight or changing the knitting gauge. I wish the product was available in larger spools with more yardage. I would buy one in every color.
