If you’ve ever wondered how all those threads get on the loom, or if you wove years ago, but feel kind of rusty regarding procedures, OR if you think the way you have been dressing the loom is kind of complicated, come watch the way we teach dressing the loom at WEBS.

We use a pretty simple no-fail method of dressing the loom, called back-to-front with a raddle. Barbara Elkins will start with a wound warp and show you the equipment we use, including rubber bands, paper bags and a raddle you can make yourself. You’ll see how you can get the warp on the loom alone and be ready to weave in a fairly short time.
