Bought ecru and it ended up looking a little too bland and monotone for my project. Carrying another fiber with it and adding some beadage did not solve my problem. I also felt that I needed a bit more bulk so I worked it doubled stranded (minus the fru-fru) and this seemed to give me a much nicer look. During all this experimentation my shawl suddenly morphed into a shrug and then what? I quickly ran out of yarn at the halfway mark and now I am not sure if I should order more of this or just frog it. May have been a better plan to dye this yarn and play around with my gauge a little more to see if I could avoid having to buy so much. The jury is still out.
