Rigid heddle looms are a small and portable means of getting into weaving. Using lots of examples, Leslie Ann will show how knitting yarns can be used on a rigid heddle loom. She will discuss how to select yarns, the different sizes of heddles and how to use hand-manipulated techniques to add interest. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at weaving part of a class sampler. See how quick and easy it is to weave a scarf or create beautiful pillows, dishtowels and more!
