It felt fitting that I name this yoked cardigan after one of my favourite Shetland seabirds, the Oyster Catcher, with it’s long orange beak and distinctive call. During the photo shoot they darted about, very much an integral part of the landscape.

1000 (1050, 1100, 1150, 1225, 1275, 1375, 1425, 1525, 1575) yards worsted weight yarn.

Gauge:
20 sts and 28 rows= 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch on US 7/4.5mm needles.
20 sts and 35 rows= 4 inches in Slipped St Rib (stretched from blocking) on US 7/4.5mm needles.
