Comments about SweetGeorgia CashSilk Lace:
I bought 3 skeins of this yarn to make a sweater for my daughter (I think I'll need more) employing a cascading leaf design. The softness of the cashmere and the shine of the silk combine to make a yarn that is very soft to touch but not too fuzzy. I'm using a size 0 circular needle, but I knit pretty loosely and others might use size 1 or 2 to get my gauge of 8 sts/in. The stitches in my project are well-defined. The color I chose, Black Plum, is very close to the onscreen image, deeply saturated and absolutely gorgeous. HOWEVER, you should be aware that the degree of variegation is not constant from skein to skein -- I have one that goes from very deep wine to dusty rose, heavy on the dust, and another that is much more evenly colored, going from claret to deep raspberry. I don't mind, but you should look at what you get and plan accordingly. Thin as this yarn is, I have had no breakage, it knits up easily, and shows the lace design beautifully. I have not noticed any splitting. In each of the two skeins I've used so far, I have come across three places where there is an extra glob of cashmere fiber, causing the yarn to become suddenly thick for an inch or so. It is easy enough to just pick out the extra fuzz and re-twist the yarn with your fingers, but again, you should be prepared to do this. The lace fabric in my project is so soft and the color so lovely! I am well pleased with it and recommend this yarn to anyone wanting to make something really special.

Comments about SweetGeorgia CashSilk Lace:
I was looking for a fine yarn to make gift mitts for use in an office environment. The yarn is exquisite with an uneven color because the sil and cashmere accept dye differently. With 000 needles the mitts were just the right weight -- light, warm and soft. They don't have enough resilience for mitts or gloves and don't hug the hand. Doubled with 0 needles the mitts were wearable, soft and warm, but not suitable for work. This product makes a gorgeous gift which can be used for dressing up. The yarn will relax into the knit stitches over time so don't get disappointed. Don't use it for items which require stretch.

Comments about SweetGeorgia CashSilk Lace:
The most amazing, soft, gorgeous yarn I have used to date. I am making a shawl with the Mist colorway and it's incredibly beautiful. Easy to fix mistakes, holds up well, stunning colors, softest hand. Looks delicate, but is stronger than I would have thought. What more could one ask for?

Using this gorgeous yarn to knit a scarf for my brother-in-law. Beautiful stitch definition and a delight to handle. So soft! A little tricky to wind using my swift, but I got the hang of it.
