Beautiful for hats, the self-striping pattern isn't perfect, but nice enough for the price. In the Aqua color, this shows up in awkward places - a single dark purple stitch in a field of light blue - and you just wish they had paid more attention to the detail. It is there in the darker colors, but you have to look for it to see it.
I combined it with Jojoland Baritone solids for the hat ribbing, and the two yarns go very well together.
