The Sermilik Shawl is a beautiful crocheted triangle shawl designed by Kristin Omdhal for Valley Yarns. Simple double crochet shells work brilliantly with the hand-dyed colors from Lorna’s Laces in this elegant triangle shawl, making almost intentional-looking pools of aquatic colors.

Pattern was easy to follow up to the Edging: Row 2- it seems to be missing part of the instructions. Per the instructionthe 7 tr are ancord on one side, but have a chain 7 on the other side. I think the instructions should read: Row 2: Turn, ch 5 (counts as 1 tr, ch 1), [(1 tr, ch 1) 5 times, 1 tr] in same sp, 1 sc in next ch 7 sp, *(ch 7, 1 sc in next ch 7 sp, 3 times, //1 sc in nex ch 7 sp,// [(1 tr, ch 1) 6 times, 1 tr] in next ch 7 sp; rep from *. The additon is in the //.
