Whether you want to be able to weave more great stuff in less time, you've always wondered what it would take to become a production weaver or you've got a weaving business, this is a great workshop for you.
We will start by sharing tips about some of the most common things that slow down weavers and how to overcome them.
We will then take an in-depth look at a few specifics of the aspects of the weaving process. First is equipment: what makes looms better or worse for speed, and what accessories can best support your weaving? Second is body mechanics: the nuts and bolts of the weaving process and how to train your body for faster weaving. Third is treadling sequences: hints for how to adjust the order of how you tie up your treadles for ease and speed while weaving complex patterns.
There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
