This yarn is light, fluffy, and soft. I believe it works up better on slightly smaller needles than recommended, or the resulting fabric is too light to be very warm. I did find that the actual yarn in the colorway I purchased was quite a bit darker in real life than how it appeared on the monitor. It worked well for a chunky knit hat/cowl combo which is more of a fashion statement than something you could depend on to keep frostbite at bay. Also, the color repeats are fairly short compared to Noro or other yarns that feature long color repeats.

I am using this for the Berroco pattern Allspice sweater, in the wintery mix collection, which calls for souffle. It is knitting up in lovely stripes. It does tend to separate a bit at times, so you have to be careful to get the whole stitch off and on the needles. I don't know if it will shed.
