I found that this yarn was very slippery! If I'm not careful, the stitches tend to slip right off my metal needles. then, because it splits easily, the stitches are a pain to pick up again. I usually prefer a metal needle, but with this yarn I might recommend wooden - but not too rough a wood because I suspect the yarn might snag as easily as it splits. Joining two ends was problematic as well, because knots just pull apart (like they've been sprayed with silicon or something.) Had to use the "loop" method of joining, because I didn't trust a knot to hold.
Other than those two things, it was fun to use - the colors develop nicely.
Do be aware that this is a rather light worsted - almost a DK weight. Excellent for lighter garments, but I wouldn't rely on it to produce a thicker fabric.

I am making a cabled baby blanket in tropical colors as a gift. This is my second project with Liberty wool. It is so nice to work with; lovely in the hand, great stitch definition and the bright clear colors are a treat to the eye.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Liberty Wool Print:
I am knitting a scarf using the double knitting technique with two different colorways. It is great fun to see these beautiful yarn colors evolve. I am just a tad concerned that the yarn has a slightly fuzzy texture, and may pill... But I have continued with this project, and the yarn makes it!

I am knitting hats for gifts. The color selection in Liberty Wool is almost endless. It is soft and easy to work with. The colors are dyed to drift into the next color. The striping is supurb. And the finished project is so lovely it is hard to part with:)

I'm working on the Molly scarf, using Liberty Wool Art Deco Wavelength, almost finished using 2 hanks so far! The gorgeous colors and luxurious feel of the yarn keep me going, otherwise I just don't have the patience to knit a long scarf. I've bought 3 hanks of Berry Bramble, haven't decided how to use, but I just find this yarn irresistible!
