I knitted a sweater for a friend who is allergic to wool. Many cotton yarn feels stiff. Not so with Lovely Jeans. I was disappointed to learn this yarn was being discontinued so I was glad to find it on yarn.com.

I'm making the Sennen Cove Blanket in 3 differet colors, cream, navy and a denim looking blue. The yarn is very soft, easy to work with and will make a great blanket.

This is a good quality cotton. I did not find it splitty or hard. It has the usual qualities of cotton, so you need to choose a suitable project and swatch to find out how it will behave. Of course the ends will unravel a little, and it doesn't have any memory, but that is normal for cotton.
I would definitely consider buying it again to knit a cotton sweater.

This is labeled 4st/inch and Heavy Worsted. The packaging says 4.5-5st/in but I'd call it Light Worsted/DK. It's still a beautiful yarn but much lighter than advertised.
