The knots and frays were a problem, but their were more pros than cons, I will order this yarn again. It really softened up after blocking too.

The feel of the yarn is lovely. Blocks beautifully. But in the stockinette pattern, the knots, which were many, were way too obvious. I had to untie and attach the second strand to get a smooth look. Very unhappy with that. The yarn also split very badly.
