Recycling is becoming increasingly important in a world coming to terms with the challenges of environmental, economic and climatic change. Rowan Purelife Revive is made from used garments which have been selected according to the silk, cotton and viscose content. These are then carded to make regenerated fibre, which is then spun into this beautiful, high quality yarn, which gives life to new hand knitting designs. Made in Italy.

I have knitted 2 sweaters with this lovely yarn. The texture softens after washing, and the drape is good. Stitch definition is nice and cables pop. My husband has worn his for 2 years and it looks like new. It is a wonderful green conscious yarn, perfect for Spring and Fall layering. I will make more sweaters with this yarn.
This yarn does not hide flaws and I would not recommend it for a beginning project.

Tote bags, used along side with another better natural fiber such as linen or cotton. Rough texture: simply can't justify the price per skein for it. Nice colors, though.

After hand washing the sweater became softer and it lost the factory smell.
I would recommend this yarn to a friend if they asked me.

I made a pullover and a cardigan with this yarn and love the drape of both. It is soft recycled yarn which speaks to my green sensibilities. I get compliments every time I wear the sweaters made with this yarn. I plan on purchasing more. The colors are beautiful.
