I never purchased Universal Cotton before..Cotton scares me. It can seperate, be flimsy, and not fun to knit with. This cotton is yummy...No negatives whatsoever...I want to order it in every color...both in the Batik and solids...Happy knitting with this awesome cotton for this Summer!!
