Skacel addi Lace Click
The addi Lace Click system provides 8 pairs of addi Lace tips (US 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) along with 5 blue addi cords which create 16”, 20”, 24”, 32”, and 40” needles (approximate lengths), 1 Click connector, and a gold addi heart pin. The Lace Click tips were created to be shorter in length, to allow for both 16” and 20” applications. The Click tips require no tools to change; simply insert the cord deep into the tip, twist and release. The tips will remain secure until you change them. If you love addi Turbo Lace needles, this interchangeable set is the way to go. Have all the needles you need in one convenient carrying case. Tips measure 3.25".
The addi Lace Click tips are nickel plated. The nickel plating process is electro-static, which produces a smooth, rounded edge, where the tip and the cord "click" together. **Please note, this plating is only added to the Lace Click tips, and not to the regular addi Lace circular needles. Also, these specific tips have been shortened by 2 inches, to allow for the use of shorter cords (to make 16" and 20" Lace Clicks a possibility.**
For more details, check out Clara's review of the needle set at Knitter's Review.
Note: While the 24”, 32”, and 40” cords from both Click sets are fully compatible with any style of tip, the new 16” and 20” cords are not compatible with the Turbo® tips. The length of the Turbo® tips combined with these smaller cords, will not allow for proper knitting. Cords are located in the back zippered pocket of the case.

I have gone from being a newbie to learning and conquering every pattern I put my mind to. being totally obsessed with knitting all types of things I quickly found myself needing more and more needles sizes. the addi lace set fixed my project anxiety! I can get guage quickly and easily just swapping tips as I go, and not only do the sharper tips make getting in any stitch a breeze, I can knit anything with the super versitile cord sizes. the only reason I had held back on buying the original turbo set was my need for that 16" cable- and now I have it! I haven't had any problems with the connections catching my yarn and I'm close to being a tight knitter. I just love not needing any tools to swap out the cords too. I could go on forever about how much I love my addi's. now we just need to be able to buy extra cords and tips specific to the lace set!

After numerous problems with the Knit Picks needles breaking, falling apart, or otherwise disintegrating I was holding out high hopes for the Addis. However, I've noted a few problems with the Addis, that I'm hoping the Hiya Hiya will solve.
I love how easy it is to change the tips on the cords. The fact that I don't have to use a tool to do so is fabulous, and this, for me, is one of the best features.
However, the join between the cable and the needle is awful, and snags horribly on lace weight yarns, which is ironic, given the "lace" in the name of these needles. Additionally, the tips are not very pointy at all, which is further irritating. I do like the shorter length of the tips and the finish on the needles though.

Love this needle set. I already own the regular addi click set, but wanted to try the lace tips in the shorter length. I also love that this set comes with five different cable lengths where my other set only came with three. The case is also a nice new addition- when I got my first set I had to purchase a case separately for them and it isn't as compact as this one. Very pleased with this product.

Comments about Skacel addi Lace Click:
I purchased the Addi Turbo Click set last year and was very pleased with it, though I did not get much use out of the larger size needles, as I rarely work with bulkier yarns. I do much more lace knitting and probably should have purchased this Addi lace set instead, as the sharper tips and shorter needles are superior for lace. The various length cables are wonderful and switching from one to the next in the middle of a project is no problem at all. I highly recommend this set and feel it is well worth the price.

The description was clear that the coating would not be the same as the individual needles that I have bought in the past. But, I really wanted the sharp pointy needle ends that you get when you buy individual needles.

I use the product for hats, shawls, any circular knitting I want to do. I love having the shorter cords for small projects and even though I have large hands I find the shorter needles very easy to work with. So far I have nothing negative to say about my Addi Lace Clicks and plan to purchase the set with the longer needles in the future.

Comments about Skacel addi Lace Click:
I love my Addi Lace Clicks! I've used them with lace weight, sock, and heavier yarns and they've worked like a dream.
I'm a fairly loose knitter and occasionally the yarn will drag over the join between the cable and the needle, when changing rows, but mostly it's not a problem. It usually happens with thin yarns in complex patterns, but I just move the yarn along at the same time I pull yarn from the skein or adjust rows.
I find these needles to be some of the best I've ever used. I've tried the turbo, but find the tips too blunt. I often use them in Magic Loop knitting, not just with socks, but with felted and lace bags as well. I wish the cables were a bit softer - or Addi provided a choice like Kollage Square Needles that has both soft and firm cables. And I keep hoping that Addi will start selling additional sized tips for the set.
Overall, the Addi's are great quality and they've improved my knitting speed. Definitely worth the price!

Comments about Skacel addi Lace Click:
I have only ever used one type of interchangeable needles, and these are it. I love the pointier tip that these needles offer. It makes ALL knitting easier and the yarn I work with less splitty, whether I'm working on lace items or not. The only drawback is that they don't offer smaller AND larger needle sizes. I need US 13 needle tips, and I don't want the regular addi click tips - I've been spoiled by the pointier tip that the lace set offers.
Comments about Skacel addi Lace Click:
Love Addi, but these are the best. Much smoother with nickel-plated surface as opposed to brass tips. Great points. Really love that they have the shorter cables. Would definitely like smaller tips available and also replacement tips and cables as with the Turbo.
Comments about Skacel addi Lace Click:
I was a Addi fan to begin, and these are now my favorite needles. The flexibility of different sizes along with the lovely points, smooth joins, easy assembly and wonderful flexible cables make these a joy to work with. The only possible improvement would be if they could make them with points down to size 0!
