While they are comfortable to use with my arthritis, I didn't even get the ribbing done on the sweater I bought them to knit on, and the needle was bent. I tried to straighten it, but now I have a set of wavy needles. The cable doesn't let the stitches slip around easily, so as I tug the piece the needles bend. As I knitted a few more rows, the paint has chipped off the needle tip. Now the tip is far from smooth. Never had this much trouble with my addis or hiyahiyas.

the join is so abrupt that nothing glides over, I have stretch the cable and needle out between my hands and move the stitches over the join with my mouth. The cable is supper flexible, to the point of kinking on itself, a little thicker would have made for a smoother join and a less techy cable. Wish I had read that first review before buying.

I got these needles to magic loop with because the cord is so lovely and flexy. I also have problems with small needles and carpal tunnel so I thought the square would help. The needles are lovely to knit with--I like the square thing and it does feel easier to grip. The cord is lovely for magic looping, it is so flexy. BUT. The stitches really don't glide over the join, you have to push them. BUT. Since the cord is so flexy it is really difficult to push the stitches along the cord, you really have to pull the cord, push a little, pull the cord, push a little. It is all so finnicky that ultimately my hands hurt more. The yarn seems to stick a bit too on the cord or needles, I can't exactly tell. I'm using a superwash sock yarn so I can't imagine what a stickier wool would be like.
