I have used circulars made by other manufacturers and found roughness at the tips (which you may prefer if you're using slick yarn, but I don't like) and lumpy joins (always bad). I am willing to spend the few extra dollars to get Addi Turbo needles.

I love Addi Turbos. They are great for almost all my knitting. I love the circulars. We often travel and with a circular I don't have to worry about dropping a needle. These are also wonderful needles for 2 at time socks!

I've tried a number of the circular knitting needles, and these are my favorite. The cable doesn't kink, and and the smooth finish helps the stitches slide off with ease. With some of the bamboo products, I've had the cable separate from the needle after only a few uses. That won't happen with these!

The cable on these needles is flexible enough that the project you are working on lays comfortably in your lap and the yarn slides over them effortlessly.

I use Skacel circular needles for everything I make -- socks, baby blankets, sweaters, hats -- you name it -- and always have (like my grandmother and my mother). Addi Turbos are the best -- and the only needles I use. I think you can never have enough of them -- in all sizes and lengths.

I love these cable needles. I use them for many small projects-socks, gloves, mitts, even flat projects. The smooth construction allows the yarn to slide very easily. The flexibility allows them to straighten out quickly so that I'm not always working with a coil.
